Cambrian Aquatics

Connah’s Quay Swimming Pool

Cambrian Aquatics continues to work on a phased reopening and in line with Government Requirements request that all members of the public wear face coverings in public and communal areas. For simplicity this is anywhere in the building unless you are in the water exercising.

As you will appreciate, we have had to make several significant changes in the way we operate, and we are consulting with our users in some cases to understand what they would be comfortable with.

The building will have a one-way system and numbers may be limited particularly in changing and communal areas to preserve social distancing. You will be briefed on arrival on the protocols you should follow for your particular session.

Public Swimming

Our timetable for public swimming is expanding weekly and all sessions are pre-booked by calling the pool between 9am and 12 pm each day. We hope to move this booking to an online system shortly

Learn to Swim

Our team members will be contacting you over the coming weeks to book you into our new learn to swim timetable. This will start with waves 4, 5 and 6 as we are restricted to 30 users in the pool at any one time currently. We apologise this has taken so long but we needed to ensure we had a safe and manageable system to bring our younger swimmers back into the pool.

A new online feedback tool will be available shortly for you to monitor your childs progress.

We would like to thank everyone for their understanding during our reopening and first few months of operation. It has been new for all of us and we will try to accommodate all your needs but please be patient with our staff as we cannot rush this process.

COVID-19 App

From the 24th September we will be asking customer to scan the NHS COVID-19 QR code as they attend the facility to help track and trace the spread of the virus.
